TABLE OF CONTENTS
Overview
TaskMapper provides a comprehensive platform for managing construction on your project site. In this section, we explore how you can use taskmapper to update construction counts on the map, link construction progress to MS Projects/ Primavera schedules, and to set up QC workflows for gating progress. All the features described below require a one-time setup; users will need to share project files (CAD drawings, BOM quantities, construction workflows, project schedules) - please contact your account manager or reach out to us to know more.

Overview of Construction Progress Reporting
The above guided slideshow provides you with an overview of how to use the Taskmapper Maps feature to update construction counts.
Working with Tasks and Forms on the Construction Site
Users can easily attach Digital Forms or Tasks to components or locations on the construction site, either from the desktop browser or from the mobile app. Forms are useful for creating complex workflows that require users to input a lot of data - such as QC checklists or Punchlists. Tasks are useful for making quick observations on the site, or a simple call to action (for instance, a task calling for clearing debris blocking an access road).
Forms can be used to gate construction progress. For instance, in the below example, the transition from "Tracker Installed" to "Tracker Accepted" is a QC step. We can choose to traverse this step using a Construction Count update as described in the previous section (where the user simply enters a quantity for the number of QC checks that were done), or create a break in the Construction Progress workflow that will force the user to fill out a detailed QC checklist before the component moves on the next step.
Linking your construction progress to a project schedule
The above guided slideshow provides you with an overview of how to use the Taskmapper Maps feature to update construction counts. For a detailed guide on creating and working with project schedules, please refer to the TaskMapper Project Management guide .
Drone Based Construction Monitoring
TaskMapper allows you to use drone maps to audit construction progress data, or can be used as a primary source of construction counts. In either case, all drone maps are typically stored in a separate map and can be accessed for viewing historical progress or for general visual inspection of the site.
