Users can update their profile in the profile settings. Profile photo, first name, last name, email, mobile number, and time zone can be updated in 

Organization details such as organization name, logo and address can be updated in the accounts settings. 

Asset information includes general details and metadata or additional asset details. Below are the steps to update general asset information such as the Asset name, asset cover image, address, and location.

Metadata fields are used to provide additional information about assets. These fields are really helpful because they provide additional information about assets. They're common for all the assets added under an organization, and they're used to describe asset-specific information such as AC & DC capacity, asset area, and asset type (construction, solar, wind, etc.). 

NOTE: Asset Metadata fields are also visible in the Asset Dashboard. That's really helpful for keeping track of important information about each asset.

There are several options for fields to include. You can add text fields to input information which also supports alphanumeric values, checkboxes for multiple options, or radio buttons for single selections. You can also include fields for email addresses and mobile numbers. You can add a money field if you need to input monetary values. Dropdown menus can be useful for presenting a list of options, and you can include a URL field to input website addresses. Finally, you can add a date field to collect dates.

Organizing tasks and forms can be daunting, but categories make it easier. They allow you to group and find what you need quickly. You can also create a hierarchy of parent and child categories for better structure.

To manage your notifications, visit your profile and select your preferred notification types (e.g., desktop, email, browser, mobile app). To view notifications in the application, click the bell icon next to the search button.

To set your preferred language, click the language icon next to the search bar and choose your language from the drop-down menu. TaskMapper supports multiple languages and can process any text or language you input, regardless of your chosen language.

Video 1: Viewing Organization and Asset-Specific Tasks

The Tasks allow you to access all your tasks in one place. Tasks can be created in Maps, Plans, Project Management, and Files. Navigate to the Tasks feature to view all your tasks.

You can use pre-existing templates or start from scratch to create a task that meets your needs. The task feature is available within Maps, Plans, Project Management, and Files. Manager and higher permissions allow modification of task details.

Subtask can be defined as a smaller task that is part of a larger task. Breaking down a larger task into smaller subtasks can help in better organization, planning, and execution. Subtasks can also help track progress and identify potential obstacles or challenges. By dividing a task into subtasks, it becomes easier to manage and complete the overall task efficiently.

To add a sub-task, enter a task and click on '

When breaking down a larger task into smaller subtasks, each subtask can include all the necessary functionality, such as checklists, attachments, etc. Additionally, assigning specific individuals to each subtask can help ensure the efficient completion of the task.

If you have a task with a subtask, you can quickly identify it in the Task list view under the tasks feature.

It is essential to define task dependencies to ensure that everything gets done in the correct order. Task dependencies refer to the relationships between different tasks, where one task must be completed before another can begin, close or continue. This helps to prevent any delays or confusion that might arise if tasks are not completed in the correct sequence.

 for tasks that are blocked until the current task is completed, and 

 for tasks that are related but not dependent on the current task.

There are multiple ways to add dependencies to an existing task. Method 1 is to open a task and click on 

Categories allow you to organize your tasks and forms into groups, making it easier to navigate, sort, find, and retrieve what you need quickly. You can also create a hierarchy of parent and child categories to improve the structure.

To add a new category, type the name into the designated text box and press the enter key. This will automatically add the category to the dropdown menu for easy selection in the future.

Categories can also be added in the Account Settings or an Asset for Asset-specific categories.

A task schedule is a plan listing activities or tasks with their frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, or annually) and repeat options. You can set the frequency to repeat forever, for a set number of times, or until a specific date.

Conversation is the exchange of information, ideas, or thoughts between two or more individuals through written communication. Using comments, you can share attachments and tag any organization user.

1) Comments on tasks.- Contextual chat with any organization user or users within the tasks. Use 

to tag any user in the chat, and the tagged user becomes a task watcher.

Task watchers can view the progress and details of tasks, but they cannot make any changes or modifications to them.

Geofencing uses GPS to create a virtual boundary around a task's geographic area. The assignee of a particular task can update or close it when a device or person enters the designated area.

If you have a task that you need to do regularly, saving it as a template can be helpful so that you don't have to start from scratch every time. To do this, create the task normally, then save it as a template. The next time you need to add a task, you can load the template and modify it as necessary. This can save you time and effort in the long run!

You have two options for incorporating a template into your task: You can choose the template during the task creation process or load the template after the task has already been created. This allows for flexibility in your workflow and the ability to incorporate pre-existing templates into your tasks easily.

How to add or update categories in Forms?

Forms can be directly created by clicking on Forms in the menu bar or in the map view.

1) To add a new form. Go to Forms and click on

2) To add a form in the map view, go to the maps and click on

3) Confirm the location on the map to add the form.

4) In the final step, enter the form name, choose the form template and select the assignees.

Alternatively, there are a couple more ways to create a form directly on a component/vector. 

1) Click on the component/vector on the map, click on the ellipses and select Create form.

2) Click on "View details," and in the "Component/Vector Details" view, click on the ellipses and select "Create Form."

To create a simple form, go to Forms and click on 

.' Templates created at the organization level can be shared with assets.

Simple forms can be designed to capture data from the field, including multimedia, files or documents, and time stamps, and can also be geofenced. To create a simple form template, choose 

The form builder is an intuitive drag-and-drop builder that offers pre-defined formats and fields. Available templates can be previewed, allowing users to customize specific fields in pre-existing form templates for a specific use.

A form workflow is a series of steps or processes followed to collect, process, and manage data from a form. This workflow typically includes the creation and design of the form, the distribution and collection of the form, the validation and verification of the data, and the data analysis. Below are the steps to create a workflow

Categories are a helpful way to organize information. By grouping similar items, finding and managing them becomes easier. Whatever your needs, defining categories can help you stay organized.

Volume calculations provide accurate measurements for the space in a given area. The cutting and filling area for each section is found using the polygon or net area calculation method, and the volume is determined by multiplying the average area by the distance between sections.

1. To begin calculating an area's volume, select the polygon tool from the toolbox and draw the area on the map.

An elevation profile is the description of a two-dimensional, cross-sectional landscape view. It provides a side view of a terrain elevation along a line drawn between locations on the map.

Spot elevation, or a point on a map or chart, indicates points higher than their surroundings. Spot elevation displays the actual elevation of a selected point and the top and/or bottom elevation of elements with a thickness.

You can add a task or form to an individual component on the map or select multiple components and add them in bulk. Below are the steps to add a task on the map or associate it with a component on the map

1) Click on the GPS icon on select the options to create a task or a form

2) Click anywhere on the map or click on the component on the map to confirm the task's location. Click on confirm to add the task.

3) If you want to add a task to multiple components on the map or associate a task with several components simultaneously, hold down the shift key on your keyboard and select the desired components using your mouse or trackpad.

In the map view, click on the gear icon and click on the option ' Fly to map' to enable or disable the zooming when switching between maps.

To view the component labels on the map, click on the option 'Show labels' in the map view.

To toggle the visibility of tasks/forms on the map, check or uncheck for tasks/forms.

To filter tasks/forms on the map view, click on the gear icon next to tasks and forms.

Set the required filter and click on save to view the filtered tasks on the map view.

If you want to filter vectors on the map, just click on the legend located on the left side of the screen. By clicking on the number displayed in the legend, you can view only the selected vector on the map.

To filter by attribute/property, simply click on the filter icon, choose the attribute/property and its value, and then click on the apply button.

To toggle map view between streen or satellite, click on the icon at the bottom left on the map view

 feature will help understand the progress. Comparing two scan dates will allow for an easy visual understanding of the work progress based on the map's colour-coded feature types.

How to filter by defects in the map view?

How to convert a set of defects to tasks?

To export a Therm report, click the 'Export' button and select '

' from the available options. This will allow you to extract the report in your preferred format.

If you need to validate a defect, you can convert it into a task and assign it to a specific person or team for validation. The mobile application's GPS feature makes it easy for them to locate the defect on the field. To convert a defect to a task, click on the defect on the map or in the defect list, then select '

Note: When a defect is converted into a task, all the defect details, including the raw images, are automatically recorded in the task.

On the left side of the screen, you can find a list of defects that are color-coded for easy identification on the map view. You can filter the defects on the map by selecting specific ones or deselecting multiple ones. Here are the steps to do so:

Click on the number next to the defect to view only that particular defect on the map and defect list.

Click on the defect name to select or deselect the defect

To filter by block, click the Scan date/Block drop-down in the map view. Select the blocks you would like to view on the map.

To select all defects or a filtered set, click on the checkbox located on the tab. You can then perform bulk actions by clicking on the 

 dropdown, such as converting the selected defects to tasks or updating them in bulk once converted or exporting the list to .CSV format.

To create a dashboard with Therm data, go to the dashboard and click on the '+' icon to add a new dashboard.

Note: If you're looking to stay on top of your tasks, you might want to consider adding task widgets to your dashboard. This will make it easy to view all of your tasks or defects converted to tasks in one place and stay organized. Alternatively, you could create a separate dashboard specifically for tasks

How to move plans from one drawing to another?

How to filter tasks, forms, markups and comments on the plan view?

Drawings are digital containers or directories used to organize plans. They help keep related plans together and make locating and accessing them easier.

Use the blue highlighter to choose the sheet number on the first sheet.

Similarly, use the pink highlighter to select the sheet description once.

The sheet number and description will be extracted and updated for all the sheets.

The Plans feature is designed to automatically detect the latest versions of files by analyzing their file names. When you assign files to a drawing, the application reviews the file names to verify that they are being uploaded as a new version. You can easily identify the new version of a file by looking for a specific icon 

that appears on the uploaded file. Click '

Newer versions can be directly uploaded by clicking on '

Plans from a source drawing can be moved by assigning them to the destination drawing. To move, select the plans, and choose '

Then, select the destination drawing and click '

Click on the gear icon on the marker tool. Select/deselect the checkbox for tasks, forms, markups and comments

The plan view supports multiple options in the marker tool to add markups to the plan. Choose from options such as drawing, shape or text. Based on your selection, add the markup on the plan view and annotate using the text and colour options.

The marker tool allows for calibration and measurement in the plan view. Use the scale to calibrate and perform measurements with the marker tool's measurement option.

1) The first step is to calibrate. Select calibrate under the measure option and choose the calibrate.

2) Once calibrated, choose between area or distance to measure

Click on the GPS icon in the marker tool to add a task or a form to the plan.

You can sort the files or folders by clicking on the title bar.

To view the activity log of a file or folder, click on it. The activity log keeps track of all users who have accessed the file or folder and any activity performed on it, along with a time stamp for each event. This allows for easy tracking and monitoring of file and folder activity.

You can persist the Gantt/Table and other display configurations and save them as separate views. With this, the project schedule can be visualized in a way that is more convenient for different teams.

The activity's progress can be updated directly within the system using the Update progress button. Using our mobile application, you can manually update progress in percentages or set up automatic progress updates through work tracked on the field. 

The activity's progress is automatically rolled up to the corresponding WBS, updating all its ancestor's progress. By default, the progress weightages are considered equally distributed while rolling up. We support custom weightages for different activities at different levels as well. Contact our support team (
